Wesley's Treats Hallie's Sweets is a nut free, allergy friendly cottage bakery located in Spring, TX, right off I45. Kim specializes in allergy friendly treats, custom cakes, decorated sugar cookies, and her famous Chocolate Chip Cookies. Kim has been baking and decorating for over 10 years. She loves Halloween, playing with her two kids, and Psychology. Her favorite treats are her chocolate cake and her chocolate chip cookies. Kim has life threatening food allergies, and knows the struggles of finding safe foods to eat. Tree Nuts and Peanuts do not enter Kim's home, making all her baking completely nut free. To ensure safety during Allergy Friendly Baking, she cleans and sterilizes not only her equipment, she takes apart her machines to clean and sterilize them as well. She keeps all her ingredients in their own sealed containers with their own measuring scoops, and ensures cross contamination does not occur when portioning out ingredients. All food labeling is checked for allergens, even if Kim has used the product before. However, as many people who are familiar with allergies know, cross contamination can happen before ingredients make it into the stores. Kim cannot be held responsible for the rare occurrence of cross contamination in the factories her products are produced in. Kim does everything in her power to ensure safety when food allergies are involved.
